India has been on the role after beating England in the 5 match ODI series last month. The last two test matches have helped India rise towards the top. West Indies have fallen flat on their faces in both the matches as both batting and bowling have disappointed them. The first match was close but West Indies batsmen disappointed them while the second match was a complete domination by the Indian team. The series is already lost but now both teams will try and include some lesser talented players. Let’s have a look at both the teams:
India
The last match was well contested by the Indian team as they managed to win the match along with the series. The batsmen played their role very well as India had to bat only once. It would be expected that the Indian team plays in the similar way. One major change in the Indian batting line up would be the inclusion of Rohit Sharma in place of Yuvraj Singh.
There is nothing much to improve in the bowling department as the both the spinners and pacers are doing their job well. The performance of Ashwin and Ojha has put a huge question mark on the inclusion of Harbhajan Singh anywhere in the near future.
West Indies
It has been a difficult trip for the West Indians and their depleted side. Most batsmen have faltered against the spin attack and only a few have stood up. But they certainly have some positives like the batting of Darren Bravo in the previous match was nothing less than amazing.
But the top and middle order was unable to live up to expectation. It will be a difficult third match for the entire West Indian but they will have to try their best to win it.
The match will be played in Mumbai and it is a great opportunity for the champion Indian batsmen to complete his century of centuries.
